ولد النحات نعيم ضوط سنة 1941م، المغيرية، الشوف، جبل لبنان.
1. السيرة الذاتية
1960-1962 دراسات الرسم والتصوير والنحت في الأكاديمية اللبنانية للفنون الجميلة بيروت (ألبا)، لبنان.
1962 منحة الرسم والنحت من وزارة التربية اللبنانية.
1962-1965 دبلوم في النحت من أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في روما.
1965 دبلوم في النحت على الخشب من Scuola Arti Ornamentali روما، إيطاليا.
1966-2005 أستاذ في أساسيات التصميم والرسم والنحت في كلية الفنون الجميلة في الجامعة اللبنانية.
1974 – حتى الآن أستاذ الرسم وأساسيات التصميم في كلية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة الروح القدس - الكسليك (USEK)
1977-1980 رئيس قسم الفنون في جامعة الكسليك.
1998-2015 أستاذ النحت في الجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية، بيروت لبنان.

مراسم التكريم
• 2000 – كلية الآداب – جامعة الكسليك: شارك في الذكرى الخامسة والعشرين لتأسيس الكلية، حيث شارك مع عدد من الفنانين الإيطاليين في إنشاء مناهجها الأولى بقيادة الأب الدكتور يوسف مؤنس.
• 2005 – الجامعة اللبنانية: حفل تقاعد بعد 39 سنة من التدريس في الجامعة اللبنانية
• 2015 – جامعة السيدة مريم، زوق مصبح: حفل إحياء ذكرى يوبيله الذهبي للتدريس الأكاديمي وإسهاماته في عالم الفن.
• 2015 – الجمعية اللبنانية للنحاتين والرسامين في اليونسكو بيروت، لبنان.
• 2015 – جائزة النحات اللبناني من جمعية الفنانين اللبنانيين في اليونسكو بيروت، لبنان.

1. Biography
1960-1962 Drawing, painting and Sculpture Studies at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts Beirut (ALBA), Lebanon.
1962 Scholarship for Drawing and Sculpture granted by the Lebanese Ministry of Education.
1962-1965 Diploma in Sculpture from the Accademia di Belle Arti Rome taly.
1965 Diploma in Sculpture on Wood from the Scuola Arti Ornamentali Rome, Italy.
1966-2005 Professor in fundamentals of design, sketching and sculpture at the Faculty of fine arts of the Lebanese University.
1974 – present Professor of drawing and fundamentals of design at the fine arts faculty at University Saint Esprit-Kaslik (USEK)
1977-1980 Head of the art department at USEK.
1998-2015 Sculpture professor at the Lebanese American University, Beirut Lebanon.

• 2015 – Notre Dame University, Zouk Mosbeh: Ceremony in commemoration of his academic teaching golden jubilee and his contributions to the world of art.
